When is the Museum open?
The Museum is open to the public on Tuesdays to Saturdays 9am – 1pm.
Guided tours of the Barracks are available at 11am on Tuesdays. All other times a brochure is available so that visitors can do a self guided tour. Please don’t hesitate to contact the museum if you are interested in bringing groups of people through the museum at times outside of normal opening hours. We are happy to open for groups outside these timings provided that prior arrangements have been made.
How much does it cost?
The Entry fee is $5 for adults and $10 per family. For further information telephone 03 6237 7160 during opening hours (or leave a message). Alternatively you can contact the Museum via this web site.
Can we enter the Barracks?
The grounds of Anglesea Barracks are open to the public at most times. The Military Museum is open at advertised times. Entry to all other buildings is restricted.
Please note, the museum is slightly restricted for wheel chairs and people with disabilities as there are many steps leading up to some of the main exhibitions and rest room facilities.
